This is my first time blogging in a very very long time. So here goes;
Hi! I'm faruQsyaQ (Faruq). I'm the lucky lucky guy whos attached to the most sweetest prettiest girl ever =D hahaha.
Last week, darling and I were supposed to meet at 9 to have breakfast together. But I ended up delaying it for 1 hour because I, being a lazy boy, didnt pack my bags the night before. So we ended up meeting around 1005am. (I was only late for 5 mins okie baby, so u cant be mad at me xP)
We decided to have brunch at Long John Silvers. I wanted to eat clam chowder but baby didnt let me! See, i'm allergic to clam chowder. Or i think i am. The last time i ate that, i had tonsilitis and it was pretty bad. Oh wells. Shall eat it one day without baby knowing xP heee.. Kidding! Anyways, after eating we went up to GV to get tickets for Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. We got 5 tickets (Darling's family and the both of us) for the 6:30 slot (i think.. cant remember). Then we went to esplanade to just chill out and take pics. I took many pics but baby didnt like them and decided to delete most of them =( Sad please. Any pics with darling inside is a work of art but baby doesnt believe me =(
This pic was taken right outside Marina Square. A group of people gathered here to play with these damn cool remote controlled tanks. They built those buildings, placed those tank traps and made a bridge too. Damn cool! Can see different tanks here. There's an American Sherman tank used during WWII, an American Pershing tank (WWII) as well as an American Abrahams tank pictured here. Darn, i feel like getting one. But I love planes more. =D
This pic was taken at the rooftop on esplanade. Sayang's so cute. Hee
Close up of yayang! I find it such a nice shot. But sayang said she doesnt like it. Nevermind, i dont care, i still love it. xP
So after we took pics we decided to go to Changi Airport to see terminal 3. I never went there before although it was open for quite some time. Sad right? Ironic that i was so close to T3 for 3 months yet i never went there (Pulau Tekong's just a ferry ride away). There we walked around, looked at the shops and talked about what we want to do in the future. As for yayang, she wants to be a stewardess and as for me, I hope to get the SIA-Mendaki scholarship next year, get my degree for Aerospace Engineering then maybe be a pilot? Lets see if thats possible =). I told yayang that if she does become a stewardess, the standard of the company that hires her would increase drastically. Hee..
A picture of T3. I find the concept of the place really really nice. Hope I can take my plane to Taiwan from here in a few weeks time. Anyways, I'll be flying off to Taiwan for overseas training for 3 weeks. I'm gonna miss baby so so much =(
After looking around at T3, we headed back to Marina Square to watch Prince Caspian. Overall i think the movie was nice, it was somewhat similar to the storybook, save for a few minor parts. Like the kids were supposed to hike around before actually seeing the ruins of Caire Paravel (their castle). I enjoyed the movie and loved the fight scenes the most (Army Boy.. Cant blame me for loving action and war) save for one thing. The aircon was TOO COLD. I, unfortunately, left my jacket in the car. So note to self; never leave the jacket in the car when watching a movie.
After the movie, we went to have a quick dinner at Al-Hakim's somewhere near Pasir Panjang. While in the car, Syafiq (Baby's brother) and I kept disturbing baby. (sorry baby, your bro and i must combine forces to annoy you. =D) We sang songs and disturbed baby about having chocolate stains on her face. Wahahaha.
It was sad when I had to book into camp. Baby and family sent me right at the gates and saw me off. I really enjoyed my day with darling and family =) Hope to do it soon again! Hee
PS: I have to book in again soon! Bahhhhhh~~ oh wells..
