Halo halo! Baby and I visited Geylang early this year during the fasting month. As usual, during the fasting month geylang will be packed with people, food, lights and noise. Quite cool to see culture there at this point in time. Baby and I walked around, ate alot of food! Took pics, ate more food and absorbed the sights and the sounds of that place. After which, we met up with baby's family.

One thing that saddens me is that while I was there absorbing the sights and the sounds of the place, I had this shroud looming tall over me, telling me that this year I wouldnt be celebrating the first day of Hari Raya (Classified: Restricted. So i cant tell why)

But its because of this very reason that I enjoyed myself, absorbing whatever festive mood I could with baby in Geylang. =)
